There’s something surreal about walking through the Georgia Aquarium Zach and Kat... thesoft blue light, the quiet movement of the water, and the feeling that you’ve stepped into another world entirely! (Honestly, I just love the aquarium in general so this was extra special.)


This styled shoot wasn’t just about beautiful photos. It was about creating an experience, something immersive, romantic, and a little cinematic! The couple could simply slow down and take everything in together. As an Atlanta couples photography location, the aquarium brings a completely different energy compared to traditional outdoor sessions, and that’s exactly what made this shoot so special.

Victoria Lynn Photography (based out of Jacksonville, FL) planned this creative session during a photography retreat in Atlanta, Georgia in February 2026. My goal was simple: capture connection over perfection.


Instead of stiff posing or overly planned moments, the focus was on the story of curiosity and shared experiences through the aquarium. Zach and Kat walked hand-in-hand through glowing exhibits, stopping to watch marine life drift by, and letting the environment guide the story of the photos.


The Georgia Aquarium created a naturally intimate atmosphere. The dim lighting, reflections, and deep blues felt cinematic, almost like a movie scene unfolding in real time. (CUE the aquarium scene in the movie, "After")
